Sámi parliament
An elected body that represents the Sámi people. Norway, Sweden and Finland each have one.

The Sámi parliaments are elected by Sámi voters and speak for the Sámi on matters such as language, culture, reindeer herding and land use. Their powers are mostly advisory and administrative, and differ between the three countries. Norway's opened in 1989, Sweden's in 1993 and Finland's in 1996.
